In the newest "My Houzz" project, world renowned Chef Gordon Ramsay recently teamed up with designer Matthew Ferrarini to surprise Chef Christina Wilson with a renovation of the ground floor of her new home. Chef Wilson was the winner of Ramsay's season 10 Hell's Kitchen and has since become Chef Ramsay's right-hand chef and executive chef for a number of Ramsay's restaurants.
"Ramsay recently gave Wilson the gift of a renovation to the ground floor of her 1920s Philadelphia row house, which she bought using prize money from her Hell’s Kitchen win."
Using the help of designer Matthew Ferrarini and Wilson's family, Chef Gordon Ramsay hand-picked the perfect pieces for Wilson's newly renovated home. Included in these items was our Jack Tuxedo Sofa in Satin Teal color (pictured above). The sofa perfectly complements the custom color palette designed for Chef Wilson. This sofa is hand-crafted from birch wood, a deciduous hardwood that isn’t easily mottled or discolored over time. Birch is ideal for furniture making as it is durable and doesn’t warp easily. All exposed hardware has a zinc finish. Our Satin Teal Tuxedo sofa is made of a woven polyester velvet and wrapped premium flame retardant foam for a medium firm feel and is masterfully designed by experienced furniture craftsmen and women
"Streamlined furniture, including a sofa in a fun teal color, better fit the space and Wilson’s personality."
